Default Are the LS1 and LS6 pistons identical?

I wiped out a few pistons in a 2001 Z06. Looking to have the pistons replaced. Are the stockers all identical other then the 03+ LS6s receiving a coating? Here is the info I found.

Piston to Bore Clear. (SL): 0.018-0.054mm / 0.0007-0.00212"
(Maximum)
Piston Deck Height in Operation: 0.203mm / 0.008"

just replace the stockers with forged ones, that way you could throw nitrous at it if you feel like it later.

Thanks guys. Now I just need a few stock pistons. HAHA Here is my new motor which is forged from top to bottom. the blown LS6 is still in the car and will be rebuilt when it comes out with stock pistons.

HAHA I figured the plate was hidden without the lines and noids connected. The intake is a fast 102mm that I separated and sent out the lid for Hydro carbonfiber. I have a ton of that stuff under the hood and in the interior.

lol if you had taken the pic from the other side it probably wouldn't have been noticeable. but the red and blue ano'd fittings are a dead give away.

that's a real clean looking set up you have btw, got a build thread?
