Thumbs up Made my cam choice!!! Came in today!

Comp cams Thumpr

235/247 .575/.558 109 lsa

ya its big but its a track only car. Stock internal car at the moment. I had a 4400 stall built to compliment it. Also have 4.56 gears/ls6 intake. Should be installed next week. I know everyone rags on these cams but i love the low lsa and the offset will be perfect for a healty shot of nitrous. I was gonna go TREX for this cam only car like everyone else, but i decided to be different. I know the lift will hurt but I think we may all be suprised by the dyno numbers. *fingers crossed* Well let me know what yall think of my choice! Be brutal be honest

I'm interested to see them too. Just waiting on my mechanic to open a bay for me. Should be next week. If all goes well

The lift won't hurt much on a unmodified 241. Your neighbors might though.

Subscribed !! ... I still think MS4 may have been a better choice since you said stock internals for now !!
Maybe a 530-600rwtq is a goal of this setup on a 150shot. A high $$$ fuel system recomended

thats a lot of power! im just hoping for high 300's to the wheels. its gonna be hard with 4.56's and an auto!

Well ms4 cams are really known for a lovely high end power delivery tool, with a 150 shot ... a healthy 500rwtq is easy with a great tune for your juice.

As far as your cam goes =p its an early guess. Good thing about these ls series engines is the friendly to upgrade factor with any performance part. With your comp cam only, 400rwhp is very easy if matched overall. But nitrous added - with a set of heads & intake, your looking good at the 550 - 600rwtq mark. Keep your hopes up until that rod bolt breaks =p
