You have the 2 different lengths as long as the motor has never been swapped to an 04 and newer block.

134-3609 will do the trick, but as a warning, it is VERY difficult to find any of them right now with a nasty back-order ARP has on them. We've been out for months and ARP cannot even give us a decent ETA on them right now

Yes, 12498545 will work perfectly. They are torque to yield like you said and not re-useable.

i have to use the torqe angle meter on these . its a tight engine bay is there enough romm to torque angle them under the hood? i like the arp because there is no need to put torqe angle gauge on them makes it easyer.

you do not need a torque angle gauge follow the heads and cam guide on ls1 how to the torque angles are like 45 and 90 degrees just use a felt tip marker and draw a line on the top of the bolts to keep track on how much you tighten the bolt.

find someone with a Snap-On tech angle torque wrench, the thing is awesome! I have one in 3/8 and 1/2.

If the studs aren't on backorder, I recommend going with them. I tried to save a few bucks and use the ARP bolts (didn't want to do TTY again) but regret it. The studs shorten the time to remove the heads as you won't have to meticulously clean coolant out of the block bolt holes again. Also they won't beat up the block threads with constant torqueing/retorquing.

your taking about head studs not head bolts? th thught it wasent posible to put head studs on a ls1 trans am with motor in car. can i put jead studs in the block in car and be able to get cyl heads on the block? i thought it wasent possible to do this because there is little room in f body but if i can i will what is the cost for a arp head stud kit anyway i gess arp would give torqe specs and sequence in package thanks for help.

Head studs are the way to go! They are like $300. I have the ARP head studs in my car. I did assemble my engine out of the car on the k-member, and then roll it back under the car though. But I don't see any reason why you couldn't chase the threads with the heads off, put the gasket on, put the heads on, and then install the studs followed by the nuts. Does anyone see a problem with doing it that way?

You can do studs in the block in-car and fit the heads on. There is enough room.
