wanting to reach 500 hp goal.. what do you suggest as far as mods to reaching this goal?
its a 04 z06 i have mounted LG 1 3/4 headers Kooks x pipe no cats slp loudmouth catback and a vararam CAI.. was thinkin of going with the ms4 cam and the trick flow 215 heads as the next mod?

I reached that goal with 403ci's, 205 AFR heads, and fat nasty cam. My goal was also 500hp which I broke and not to soon after wanted more. If I had it to do all over again I would have went with baby blower cam and boost.

500rwhp on stock cubes is not easy.

Spray gets my vote. If you are scared of it.. procharger @ 6# will hit your mark.

i havent seen many ls1's dip into the 500 rwhp mark... my tuners ls1 was a MAX effort ls1, tfs heads, jezel valvetrain, etc. and it made 496. im hoping to hit 500 rwhp with my ls2.

with a stock short block you mite consider a EPS cam with some tweaked heads from TEA,AFR,or TSP .look at a ported and port matched fast 102 intake ,with a good tune.
