since no one will reply,,,,,most likely the seller means the crankshaft has spun a bearing which is pretty common with the LS1's.
Normally if a engine has spun a bearing there will be very little oil pressure along with a knocking sound coming from the bottom of the engine when running.

Pics, mileage, condition of body, year, asking price??? If its the engine thats bad, stock 5.3's can be had for cheap and make a nice replacement.

its all in excellent condition the guy has kept it in a garage. for 3 years. interior is excellent.. hes not a car guy and says there is something wrong with the motor.. thats why i needed to know the sound of a spun bearing.. and how much its worth just sitting there im going to talk him today about it.

Only way to get a better idea is to jack the car up or drive up on some stands and get under car to try and deturmine if the sound is comming from the oilpan area or maybe from fromt of trans/rear of engine area. What trans??? Mileage, year, price? May still be worth it with a bad engine...

What trans?????????? A manual has a pressure plate, and auto has flywheel. I dont think pressure plates have bad luck with cracking.
