Ls6 cam in carbed L33?
Hey what's up guys, I have the chance to pickup an ls6 cam package with cam, new springs, seals, retainers, and locks for 250 bucks...
Now I know this is a good deal but I'm concerned bc the lsa on that cam is 117.5 which is less than optimal for a carbed engine...at the same time I am more worried about budget than ultimate performance. My question is has anyone ran an ls6 cam in a carbed engine? I wanted to check in and see what thoughts/opinions you guys had before I pull the trigger on this deal....thanks
Ps: I will be running the 799 heads at about 10:1 compression on the Aluminum 5.3 with a performer edelbrock intake and 750 Holley....

look at a small duration TSP cam pkg,or consider comp cam 54-455-11.maybe check out camquest6 and plug in different cams to see if any cam meets your goals.will you be using the elderbrock intake ignition system for ls engines ?
