Default TSP Tsunami cam. Would I need to fly cut?

I'm looking at getting a cam set up from TSP. They told me the tsunami cam would meet my goals! Would I need to fly cut with this cam? I have 243's that I'll install with the cam. Any input or info would be great. I hear this cam puts down nice power and sounds good to.

Why not the Ms4 I know you don't have to fly cut and your getting good numbers and sounds good to. The 111LSA is a must though sounds badass

I thought you had to fly cut with the ms4. Could be wrong though.

You can fit as large as our MS4 camshaft without the need to flycut when using stock unmilled cylinder heads.

Got your email. Thanks for the help! What cam is better in your opinion? MS4 or Tsunami?

MS4 is our max effort camshaft for stock bottom end combos, and will provide awesome results in the correct application. The Tsunami is a bit more tame, and fit the bill a little better for what you were asking out of the combo. I have no doubt you will be more than pleased with the Tsunami camshafts performance!

Both really benefit from stall converters with ratings of 3800rpm and larger.

Sell the 2800 and get a 4k or bigger!! I wish I went with a 4400 at times.
But I love a loose converter.

Yes you will definitely want to swap that out for something a bit more aggressive if you decide to switch to either of these camshafts.

Did you get the car together?? Any updates? How did it all work out??

I have the same cam coming along with a set of cnc ported 241s with stainless 2.02i and 1.57e valves. Hoping I dont have any p/v clearance issues....
