Torquer 2 guys... I gotta question.
I've got a torquer 2 laying around that I'm going to put in my camaro and I'm just curious as to how the car will run untuned. The closest tuner is about 4 1/2 - 5 hours away and I'm hoping it'll be driveable enough to limp down there and back. Its mostly interstate.

I don't have a V2, but I personally think it would be alright, especially if you just take it easy. The V2 isn't a huge cam I believe so I think it will at least be driveable. However, I have heard of people running into major problems with driving around on bigger cams untuned.

The tv2 specs are 232/234 so its a pretty decent sized cam. With that said it maybe ok to drive on the hwy but I wouldnt take the chance a 200 dollar base mail tune or renting a trailer to get the car to a tuner is a helluva lot cheaper than potentially hurting the engine

One thing I did to combat the bucking and idle issues was adjust the screw on the TB for idle air flow. Made a big difference but keep count how many turns in you make plus you will need to do a tps relearn

Well thats what I was trying to avoid. 250 bucks for one trip but I definately don't care to do it if theres a chance I'll blow **** up. The entire trip is basically over 55mph. this is all ready a 120k mile engine thats seen plenty of spray in its life and I don't want to take any chances on not making it.
