Do I need to replace lifters with new cam?
I'm used to doing this since all I've ever built is flat tappet engines.
BUT, I'm doing a LS3 headed LQ9 and have a custom cam, I had planned on using the lifters that came out of the engine, but now wondering as I'm getting ready to assemble the engine if I should put new lifters in.
Opinions on if I should or shouldn't and if I should, what should I use?
Thanks

If your stock lifters have low miles, you don't need to replace them. GM LS7 lifters are good like was said. Definitely replace the plastic lifter trays, they wear out faster than the lifters.
