New lifters, rocker arms and pushrods needed?
I'm going to install a GM hot cam, LS6 ported heads, and a Fast 92 mm intake and throttle body on my '98 Z-28. The car only has 18,000 miles on it. Do I need to also replace the valve lifters, rocker arms and pushrods to make sure that the rest of the engine can handle the modifications that I will be making? If so, what are the best valve lifters, rocker arms and pushrods to use? Thanks.

It's better to be safe than sorry, no point in hurting an engine because stock components couldn't hold up to it, and you were right there anyway.
That being said you could probably get away with the stock lifters. Mayb some others will chime in.
I know my 98 TA had 2 bad lifters with 150,000 on it when I did my H/C/I, so I had to upgrade to the LS7 lifters out of necessity.

With that low of mileage you should be fine with the stock rockers and lifters, but I would def get hardened pushrods...I did a h/c/I swap on my 60k mile 98 z28 and have had no problems at all with stock lifters and rockers and I now have 76k miles and I beat the cars *** at the track a few times a year...if you got the money change them if not you will be fine, but like everything else it varies engine to engine depending on how well it was treated....good luck man and get ready to go fast lol

Probably because it was better and cost the same to make not because the factory were defective. Hardened pushrods are the only requirement you'll need, however lifters, trays, trunion upgrade and also timing chain and oil pump are not bad ideas once you're in there. With that being an earlier year LS1 the rocker upgrade and oil pump upgrade are IMO the most important. The rockers were known for losing needle bearings and the oil pumps were notorious for taking *****.

LS6 heads have the lightweight valves and don't require a lot of valve spring. If the heads are unmilled, then stock length pushrods should work. Stock length is not 7.400" but rather shorter at 7.385". I would personally install the PSI 1511 ML valve springs with this setup.
As for the lifters, I would re-use with new lifter trays which are cheap.

I would search a little on the pushrod length for stock apps. Seems to me I remember some big name companies saying there was a more preferable preload given with using slightly longer than stock pushrods such as 4.25
