Default Cant put on prc duals with my spring compressor

I have the spring compressor that u tighten down by handand i cannot put the pos on cuz the inner spring pops out while compressing it. Has anybody else had this problem? Im on my way to town to try and find one that can hold both springs but god damn im anoyed.

the only tool to use is the comp one. CCA-5462

Agreed, sounds like you are not using the right tool for a dual spring.

I finally got all the little bastards on. I have never had such trouble putting springs on. These things fought me every step of the way. I had to get a different sprigns compressor with a little bigger arms so it would hold on to the inner spring also. And it still BARELY would get the little spring and I had to get it on just right and squeeze the **** out of it to make sure it didn't pop off. I think I have 4 total hours putting the damn springs on. I had to compress them pretty damn good to get the locks in also. Can you damage the springs compressing them to much? I will post up pics in a sec.

You aren't hurting the springs by compressing them!

Cool even if I compress them all the way to were the coils are all touching eachother I won't hurt them?

Cool I thought seals would be a bitch to put on because I have never done seals with heads on a car. That part took 5 seconds. Everything has gone fast and smooth so far besides those springs. If they were single I think it would have taken me an hour. Now time to put in my new pr's and torque them down!
