Budget daily driver build
I just picked up a 2k camaro ls1 with full bolt ons done already, except intake but the engine has not been touched. Bolt ons include slp ceramic long tubes, offroad y-pipe, slp cat back, intake lid, 3.73's. I just wanted to know what mods am I looking at next to get the most hp out of it while keeping it driveable( it will be my dd) and under a budget. I was thinking ls6 intake, bigger cam( I need a suggestion), ported ls6 heads, ported ls6 oil pump, ls2 timing chain, trunion upgrade. Sry I know this has been answered I just can't search the site on my phone for some reason.

I would pick up a used ls6 intake, they are only like 350 on here, then grab the trunion upgrade and I would keep the cam fairly small. If you keep it small enough to still use single beehive spring you will save money and won't have to worry about your bottom end. I would suggest maybe 233 with a 112 lsa.

welcome to the site. we need more info to give you better suggestions, like what is your budget. i dd a bolt on car with a converter and i think its perfect. to answer your question, the most horsepower while keeping stock manners is nitrous. on a stock ls1 you can run a 150 all day as long as you have it set up properly and tuned right. or you can go with a procharger and retain great driveability and make tons of hp, once again it depends on how much you want to spend.
as far as a cam on a dd, i wouldnt go any larger than the tsp torquer v2 (or something similar). many people dd bigger cams without difficulty but its all in the tune and your driving style. the 228r is a popular dd cam that is proven and make lots of power down low.

If it is me this is what I would get in order:
1. HPTuners and learn to tune. You'll learn a ton and if you make changes as you go, you can get the most out of each mod without having to pay someone to flash it for you.
2. Torque converter. For me, the stall netted the biggest gains as far as SOTP and at the track. And it will make every mod after it that much more effective.
3. Nitrous. Budget power on tap and HUGE fun factor. Easiest way to add 100-150 hp and not change drivability or MPGs at all.
With a $2k budget, it's going to be tough to get H/C setup together for that price. Not to mention with any cam you're going to need a higher stall. A stall and N20 will have you running past most NA H/C LS1 setups.
