how thees look?? I used my dremal and some harbor fright stones






Getting a custom spec 230 cam reverse split, roller rockers, MSD wires, Hi output truck coils, 104 Lid with a K&N filer.
Hope to make 400whp.

i think they look pretty good, i always wanted to try doing this, yes i know it takes alot of time, but im waiting to have back surgery and im going to have some down time, good work though buddy, would love to see the numbers, how is your car doing?you have one of my fav cars on tech,keep up the great work

thats what i was about to say, did you chew up the seats with the cutter? other than that the ports look really really nice. 243 heads right? how much did you take out of the runners? how much bowl work did you do? they look nice

a piece of art ! the best port work I have seen .what stones did you use ?have you flowed them yet ?how much time involved for each port ?for those who want to port their own heads.

Port entrance looks barrel shaped...is that intentional or just an illusion?

I've never seen it done that way though, but if so, I'm curious why one would take that route rather than a more traditional approach.

want to use stock lifters, and gen3 rockers. So using a curved pushrod is easier

They are pretty pictures, but it is truly impossible to tell what you have achieved without measuring the the results. A velocity wand will tell you if you removed material in the right places. And, just as important, a flow bench will tell you if you have achieved the port to port consistency that is necessary to maximize the tune.

The problem with hand port jobs, without a flow bench and velocity wand, is that they don't guarantee the port to port consistency of a CNC port job.
