Are you dead set on the MS4 cam? IF asking advice, what are you goals and plans for the car? If I were you and were going to get injectors I'd just get 42# just to have enough and room to grow because let's face it, you'll always want more power.

No not dead set at all really I just don't want to whine high rpms on stock internals what cam would u recommend? My plans are to keep it as a daily driver but I want a choppy idle and great power not worried about driveablity only drive it 10-20 miles a day anyways. I really don't have a rwhp goal. How strong is the stock m6 (t56), and yes horsepower is addicting!!!! I'm at a budget around 3g wanna make most out of it. Thanks for replie

Check out my sig..personally would have preferred to grab PRC stage 1 ls6 heads but the budget wouldn't allow so I grabbed some 243's. I'll have a video up by tomorrow hopefully, but you can check out youtube..there's a ton of videos with ls1's and v3 cams. Is your $3k for parts or parts and installation?

Those numbers aren't updated. I have the car tuned through HP Tuners so no Dyno numbers yet. I've never been as concerned with power numbers more than track times. IMO go with an ls6 intake (~$300-400) and put the money saved on the FAST torwards a ls7 clutch at least. You could put down around 420-440rwhp through an m6 on a dynojet with the v3 and some prc heads.

I didn't right all my mods I have a spec stage 2 clutch I read that the v3s are bad about killing value springs even if they are duel in less than 20k you had problems like this? and I agree with you 100% on the infante

Intake* a ported ls6 should do great and 5-10hp isn't worth $500 IMO sorry for sloppy writing I'm on my phone

I haven't crossed that mileage yet, but I have several friends running the same cam in their DD's without issues so far (my main reason for choosing this cam). I pretty much assume replacing springs every 20-30k after a mild cam swap anyway. The v3 in my opinion is that balance of power and driveability without being too abusive on your set up. If you're extremely concerned with spring life, you can look at the 228R but I think you'll be leaving some power on the table. There's always the option of a custom grind too, which you have room for in your budget. Then you have a cam to meet your entire criteria. TSP could set you up with something nasty.

You don't want to rev the **** out of it but your looking at an ms4? That's all that cam does is rev. No two ways about it. Above 3500 it's king, but below 3500 it's worthless.

After research I going against the ms4.I'm trying to find a balance between power and reliability. With a sick idle I'm in school and changing value springs every 10 to 20k isn't really in my time schedule with work and school

In order to make the ms4 useable with A 6400 peak, you have to turn it to 7k. You can't shift at it's peak rpm and expect it to perform like it was designed.

You better install Katech rod bolts in your motor, because you are going to have to spin that thing to ~7500 to actually make any power. Your car will be as close to a VTEC as possible. Don't get mad when someone with a baby cam/high torque setup like myself pulls you either.
