Default Fix Ls1 w/ spun bearing or swap in a 5.3 or 6.0

Im pretty sure I spun a bearing, haven't tore into it yet though
Im just guessing but prob gonna cost more money to rebuild then just replacing it
What can be saved if all possible:
-Crank?
-Rods?
-Pistons?
-Cam?
-Pushrods?
-Heads?
-Block?
-Oil Pump?

I mean im gonna be out $$$ for:
-bearings
-crank
-gaskets
-oil pump
-machine work
-etc..

Any thoughts or opinions would greatly be appreciated?
I really wanna do this on a budget but I will wait and save if need be

Its just a cam only ls1 with 853 stock heads
Sold intake and tb already
I also plan on spraying a 200+ shot

Thanks!

If you've already sold off the parts, I wouldn't bother trying to rebuild. You're only going to spend to replace parts you've sold.
This is in retrospect, but I would have rebuilt.
I would stick to an aluminum block for weight advantage.

I was in your shoes a month ago. I just pulled the motor, tore apart motor, turned crank and machined heads. All new gaskets and bearing, but reused stock heads, block, pistons.....didn't even change rings cause it never smoked.

Labor is alot more than parts if you rebuild...but if you do it yourself....

I thought about doing a 5.3 when my motor went also because I was on a budget. I ended up going with a 6.0 and a cam total cost= $2,600+-

I recommend pulling it apart and seeing exactly what is damaged and go from there. I'd lean towards turning the crank if its salvageable and reassembling everything as it was if your trying to get things back together cheap.
