Default 262/250 555/534 106lsa

Alright I got this cam with my STS kit that I acquired in a trade for a car that was next to death. I look up the cam specs and this is what the Cam card said. Now would this be a little to radical for a turbo LS1 with 317s? Right now I have my other turbo cam in it an it runs fine.

most cams with a boosted application go with a wider lsa.

The cam I have in right now has a 114 LSA but the grind is 230/232 520/535 just wondering which might be a better choice

Are those first duration numbers @ .050"? If so, that would be a terrible cam for a turbo car.

That is an awful awful cam for an LS1, specially a turbo one.

12* split duration on the intake side? wayyy to much duration for the cubes on a turbo car

very very low LSA?

wtf is with that lift?

well its a good thing i kept my other turbo cam in and did not pull it out. Just wondering what makes this cam so bad for our LS motors? i'm still reading the whole cam guide and then trying to factor in the variable of the turbo and its just mind boggling. the cam i have in now spools the @ 1800RPM which i dont mind since 6th gear going 80 my motor is spinning @ 1700RPM

That duration is WAY too big for anything under 400ci.

What the hell would that cam be designed for in the first place? Circle track?
