Is there even a question to answer here? Yes, people run Ti valves.

You'll gain power if your current setup is having valve instability.

There's absolutely power to be had with a lighter valvetrain!!

My question is the longevity of Ti. Nice valves, but wow are they pricey!

yes price did hurt but going from 120ish grams to mid 60's that a huge diff plus the fact of the 11deg head they had to be made for because thes valves are so long...... also brass guides with T.I valves are a must and topped with stock shimmed rockers (lighter then and roller out there for LSx and bearing up grade) i really hope it makes thes ETP old junks shine. just shocked no one did it with thes heads due to how heavy the valves are. My old setup Cartek 4x heads and eps cam 238/603EPS lobe 252/596 XE 111+3 with heavy valves made 495 rwhp hope i clear 500 n/p.

I'm quite certain that your heads will need to be outfitted with copper-
beryllium seats in order to remove the heat and have the valve job last with
the titanium valves. For sure the lightweight stuff will hold more rpms til
valve float which equals more power from the air pump......
Question sir.....does Jim Moran tune your whip ??????
That fella knows his schtuff !!!!!!

i was wondering how them heads where working out for you..seems your making alot of changes to them..i cant wait to hear the numbers they put up..i didnt think the valves where that heavy in them heads..

them things with the upgrades and 52cc would make some power..**** i thought i was low in the cc range with my 56cc heads right now..

seats are done trust me i knew all about that. 5 angle fresh new 50 and 55 cuts on the heads and new T.I valves. Thanks To AES. and this thing will pump air hard. or till a rod kicks.

346 stock shorty
ETP 215 11 deg heads with T.I valves pac 1520 springs and valve job.
custom cam 630 lift lsl lobes 24x dur
40 head gasket
well north of 12.x.x comp
stock rockers upgraded
fast 102 ported by some 1313 guy????
85pd injectors
E85
and ford nine with 4.56 gears and slicks

This setup above with cartek 4X heads made 495 rwhp and 430 tq with valves that were tanks.and slicks and lots of drive train loss. now lets see how the new setup works. And yes jim puts a tune in this setup....

I say solid roller, and alumin intake (lxr) and let's take some advantage of them TI valves, shift around 8000-8200 , Sbe right? No problem....
