Default speed inc si6 cam installed

finally got the cam put in. mods on car are

98 ss
tick MC
monster level 2
paceseter longtubes
ORY and kooks race bullet
MSD wires
SLP lid
AIR!, EGR!, and EVAP!
LS1 intake still
perimeter bolt heads still
Brian Reckart street tune speed inc SI6 cam 235/240 .643/.609 111+1
tooley spring kit and 7.400 pushrods

im trying to plan out my next set of mods as i go.

heads will be absolutely last as i dont really wanna pull the car apart again for a while. when i do that it will be stock 243's ls7 lifters and a trunion upgrade.

LS6 or ls2 intake if ls2 ill be using a 92 mil lid, and a 92 mill aluminum housing ls3 MAF

4.10 gears (a few years down the road the car will be getting a build rear 8.8 or 9")

125 wet kit

just getting some feedback on what i should do next.. oh and BTW the car will be shifting around 6300 and the dynos on the cam that ive seen seem to peak right around there anyways.

anyways heres some pics of the car and an idle video of it after the cam

ya thanks. it was a tossup between this cam or one of the SNS cams by you guys at Tick. i just wasnt ever able to get anybody on the phone from Tick to help me out when i called or hit you guys during a sale. mad props to Tim and Nick at Speed Inc for getting this thing setup tho. hit a few bumps thanks to the stupid 98 perimeter bolt covers and mounting the coil packs backwards but it all got sorted out.

and yea looks like 4.10's will be next and the intake.. just depends on what i come across the better deal on first.. after an LS6 intake ill be getting a Reckart dyno tune

That really doesn't make any sense that you weren't able to get anyone to help you out. If you called and talked to me, I would of gone out of my way to help you like I do everyone else. If you called and no one answered it was either between 12-1 EST or after hours. Anyways, good luck with the set-up.

Tony @ speed inc sent me this dyno chart today. i havtn had mine on the dyno yet but the only mods this car has that mine dosnt are 241's instead of 806's and an ls6 intake.

also the drivability isnt too bad. minor cam surge around 1500rpm's but i plan on running 4.10's so that should take care of that as well as increase the low end pull

well got my first test with the new cam installed on stock intake and heads.

ran 3 cars a heads cam intake exhaust and gears 4.6 thunderbird, a 2013 mustang gt with the boss intake full exhaust and a tune, and a 2007 mustang GT procharged owned by one of the guys at Lethal performance...

held dead even with the procharged mustang... hes 460 wheel
put about 5 lengths on the 5.0 and im not even sure how much i beat the Tbird by.. he dropped out of the video.

im verry pleased with the cams performance and powerband. and i cant wait to see how it does with 243's and ls6 intake or fast and a 100 shot

Nice I got the SI5 in mine love it. Get a better intake and really give them hell. Do you plan on throwing it on a dyno for number?
