Default the infamous tick tick tick

I beem having this ticking noise on a brand new lq4... the noise was driving me crazy pulled the valve cover on thr passenger side and. Saw the push rode laying on the cast.. the tip of the push rod broke off into the rocker

Any input on why this happen only 100 miles in motor and oil psi is above 40psi

I would invest in some 1pc. pushrods. it looks as if the ball end snapped off.

one peice push rods and make sure your gettin oil to all the rocker arms

Installed a new rocker arm and push rod... note to self it takes 3 to 5 min before oil gets to rockers.... for now on I will let the motor idle for ten min t o make sure

Im fairly new to the ls motor, But 3-5 minutes before oil gets to rockers?
