Default 2001 Formula hesitation

I just bought a 2001 formula with 82k miles. Everything is stock and it had been sitting for about 1-1.5 years without even starting. When its idle you can see that theres a misfire because the engines shakes a little. I can also notice the slight hesitation mostly on the lower rpms. Considering that it had been sitting for so long what are some of the things that I can check or replace to make sure it runs smoothly? Im new to LS1s so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Change all the fluids first thing, that won't fix the problem but sitting that long especially for engine oil is no good. I would check the wire/plugs first since they are the easiest to check, if they are worn out throw on a new set and check the wires also. Thats where I would start, also try to keep refilling the gas as much as you can to help dilute that stale gas that has been sitting in the tank. It very well may be bad cause causing the problem but its not as common as it used to be.

Yeah I figured I should change out the fluids first. I was also looking at the engine compartment today and the plugs on the passenger side look really hard to acces. Any tips on how to make it easier?

is it throwing any codes?

Clean the MAF sensor and check for any exhaust leaks.

Change oil as soon as possible and do a full tune up. Don't forget the fuel filter and like stated above, clean MAF sensor and check the codes.
