Default What AFR heads?

What AFR heads would be a better match for a re-sleeved LS2 427cid engine?
I want the engine to be a kick *** street car, and only take it to the track for test and tuning. What heads are all you 427cid guys running? I'm interested in
AFR's 230cc heads. Not too small and not to large. The AFR 230's flow numbers look very impressive, and know flow number aren't the whole story, so that's why i'm asking what heads work great on a LS based 427?

I appreciate any advice.

For an engine that size I would def go no less than the AFR 245cc those heads would kick *** in a 427 and I'm pretty sure they are no where near too big. Should have great street manners....at least I would think so. I am putting a set of AFR 215cc heads on my stock CI 346 ls1...I was even given an option to run the 230s on my car. That would be for a more strip car tho...so ya, go with the 245s and don't look back

I would use LS7 heads with those bores.

I should have some LS7 heads for sale by the end of the week. I think they have about 28000 miles on them.

The LS7 heads are already CNC ported And I thought I read that they flow a lot right out the box. Anyone know what they cost? Thanks "Z" I appreciate your input and everyone's ideas as well. Thanks all.

I'd go with the LS7 heads .... those 230s are way to small for that size motor.
