Thats not good. get a mechanical gauge on that thing quick. if the pressure reading is the same you may have some real serious problems

At 177K I would do some investigation either way. Slapping a new pump on is good insurance for an engine with that many miles. Could also see if there is a blockage in the main oil galley.

Got another block from a machine shop. With the cam also. Sent the heads out to get machined also. Crank. Technically everything in its internals is new

When you get everything back, be sure you inspect the galleys and fluid passages. Most machine shops wont clean those unless requested to do so. Liberal America....

^^^^^Problem found.

I would take the front and rear covers back off and take the front and rear oil galley plugs out and see if you can see down the entire length of the passage. For that to happen, the oil pump will also need to come off, which would be a good opportunity for inspection. Did you forget the $4 O-ring that goes on the pickup tube into the pump itself?

see if they put the oil restrictor back in the engine, it will in the back of the engine, you must remove the trans, and rear cover to see if its there. you could try another pump maybe a HV and see if it makes a difference. if it doesnt well your SOL

Still need to inspect the main oil galley. A new oil pump won't pump anything if there is a blockage.
