Cam Recommendation
Looking for advice for a cam package upgrade. I have a 98 trans-am 130,000 miles. Its a daily driver and would like to keep it that way. My current mods include TSP LT Headers, 3200 TCI stall, ls6 Intake., performabuilt L2 transmission, tune by frost
I would like it to be a little lopey, But i have a 3200 stall and its an automatic
I know i need to install new oil pump, timing chain. I am just looking for more performance on the street. Any advice is appreciated

LS2 timing chain is like 50% stronger than an ls1 chain. cam i went with an ls6 - 02 which was way too mild. consider a 224 or 224/228 dur with 114 lsa. you must upgrade springs for higher lift. my ls6 springs are only good to 570 lift. everyone will give you a diff cam opinion so call plenty of speed shops. that cam should give you good drivability which is what i want. cheers!

I would like it a little lopey, I am just trying to figure which way to go heads or cam?? Also with the stall being a 3200?With the miles on the engine i assume its better to do the cam and vavle train. Also the Car has already had a mail order tune from frost for LT Headers and stall converter.
