loading up issue
ive been having trouble with my car loading up,it ran lean with my stock 02's and it has longtubes and they had every pcv line cut and not plugged off and had a cylinder a 6 misfire and the check engine light would flash,i have since fixed all the PCV issues and installed a oil catch can,new wires and front 02's from a 2000 corvette and now its running really rich,im stumped on if i need new 02's or if it could be a valve issue?

A simple compression test will tell you if a valve is bent or burned. IIWM I'd
replace the O2s with new and retune. Obviously the computer thinks the
engine is lean and is trying to richen it up. Headers will lean it out, the O2s
are farther away from the engine(heat) and can read differently, and that
screenless MAF can send different info to the computer at idle and low air-
speed situations. A retune should help.

another thing, the car has o2 extenders that did not have direct plug ins,and the wires are spliced together, and the wire colors on the extenders were not the same size or color as the wires on the 02's themselves, and the gauge of the wires from the extenders are a bigger gauge

so while your current O2s may not be bad the info they're relaying to the
brain box is innacurate,so the computer don't know up from down.

[QUOTE=A.R. Shale Targa;17695040]This is most likely your issue as O2s read mili amps and are guage sensitive,

Good information
