I have tested these in a NIST traceable calibration lab and they are way better than the specified 3.5% accuracy. Only limitation I see is the limited useable range.

The steel components and ratchet are made in Taiwan, and the electronics and assembly are done in Malaysia. Our repair / calibration facility is in Chicago in case anything ever needs to be done to the wrench.

I found quite a few positive reviews, zero bad ones.

Appears to be a good product.

Yes. Snap-On makes a great product. For the degrees, we have recently come out with a small Digital Angle Gauge that attaches to any standard breaker bar, wrench, or ratchet and measures the angular rotation.

You can read more about it here:

Professional Grade Digital Angle Gauge | Brown Line Metalworks, LLC

It was recently named by Motor Magazine as one of the Top 20 Tools of 2013. You can read the whole article here:

Motor Magazine Top 20 Tools of 2013

You can purchase it online at:

Toolsource and Sears

Unfortunately, we can't offer a discount on the Digital Angle Gauge. It is a new product for us, and one that we don't have a lot of stock on.

We have had a few customers tell us that they had trouble getting our shopping cart to work, so we are going to keep the discount code active for a few more days. If there are any problems, please email us at info@brownlinemetalworks.com

Thanks.

Brownline, while I'm certain your wrench is every bit as good and accurate as you say it is, I would gladly pay more for it if it was US made. It does look like a very nice product.

You posted this thread just as I was about to need a digital torque wrench for an upcoming engine project.

After much consideration, I chose to purchase a US made torque wrench.

We send far too many jobs and money to foreign countries and given the opportunity to buy Made In USA, I do so.
