Default Lifters?

I recently had a lifter twist in the bore and screw up my MS3 cam. I had 853 heads also. Now Im gonna do a set of 243's and either a MS4 or BTR stg4 cam. I need to decide on lifters. I really dont want this kind of thing happening again so I was thinking of doing the Lunati lifters with the link bars. Are these a good lifter to run? I know most people say to run the LS7 lifters but the link bar kinda give piece of mind.

Thanks for any help you guys give.

We have a nice set of Morel Tie bars available. Here they are. No need for the plastic trays! They also give a little bit more stability in the higher rpms.

No, and just add a little assy lube to the roller and the body and drop them in. There are more heavy duty ones out there, but for your intended purposes, I think they are the perfect fit!

With the tie-bar lifters you no longer need the lifter trays.

I have the hi-rpm ones.No problems with them. I went with link bars because the trays can wear out, allowing your lifter to spin. The link bars cant twist at all.

Im actually selling a set, btw. haha

We have the Morel "street" link bars for $329, and the high rpm set can be had for $579.

One of the better things about the link bar lifters is, you dont have to worry about them falling in the bottom of the engine when changing cams! Ha.

Do these require a change in pushrod length?

Still a chance of them twisting on the cam. Id gladly pay a little more knowing that wont happen again.
