No, but I would definitely pull the cam for inspection.

Same thing happened to me. Get yourself a trunnion kit for the rocker arms. I took mine down to Valaya Racing in SJ, and since I we're already going to be in there, I got new springs, cam, oil pump, and timing chain.

My question is IF I pull the heads off, replace the lifters/trays, and get the correct length pushrods in there, will the (HIGHLY probable) damage to those cam lobes quickly destroy the brand new lifters while I use the car for the very short time UNTIL I can pay someone to replace the cam/timing set/oil pump/etc.??? (I do NOT trust my skills, or complete lack thereof, at degreeing/setting up the cam properly, to do it all at the same time. )
In other words, just HOW hard is the material of the rollers on the LS7 lifters, and can it handle some scoring/gouging of a cam lobe, given 'mild' spring pressures??
