I think it's worth buying for Anyone who's building a short block. That way, there's no chance of forgetting to put that "easily forgotten" piece back in the block. It's too cool to forget about
It's a really good idea, but I'm wondering if the knock-sensors will pick-up the vibrations of the metal in the block.

I can assure you that the Barbell is not going to be vibrating. Its not loose enough plus the is a O-ring on one end and and very little clearance at the other end, and that small clearance will be cushioned with oil.
It's in. Very tight fit(a good thing) compared to the factory barbell--as advertised.
Remember boys and girls, even if you feel like protection takes the fun out of sticking it in, at least lube it up before you do. She'll thank you by keeping that o-ring in one piece.
Yea was hoping mine would be here. I live in georgia and it's shipping from California. I was realllllyyy wanting to take my engine off the stand and put it back on the kmember and bolt up clutch/flywheel/trans today, but I gotta be patient!! It's my fault though for not ordering the day they were released
