Default FFHP heads (pics and flow #)

got my heads last week, damn fine set if i do say so myself. there stg1 5.7's unmilled (66cc), im using domed pistons to raise my compression. intake runners are 215cc and exhaust are 80cc. i cant wait to bolt them on . im going to have R.E.D flow and spec them for me for my own intents and purposes as well. for the price i paid (1295 outright shipped plus 250 refunable core; so about 1k final cost) and the excellent service that Brad has given me i cant complain. its nice to see some of the lesser known sponsors still take care of there customers

pics are kinda big:

Congrats. Go to work, put them on.

I noticed on the flow card that they were flowed without an intake. Did they at least use a tube?

If you have a grinder, you could do some work on the combustion chambers.

most heads arent flowed with an intake. and the exhaust was flowed w/o a pipe, when i have R.E.D flow them i'll use both.

Very cool! I see the exhaust/intake ratio is a solid 0.75 at most lifts, nice consistant work and excellent pics. What is this so called 'intended application' <chuckle>, can't wait to see the numbers!

valves are 2.02/1.57

since there is no standardization stages can be whatever you want if you think about it.

Look nice! I'm very eager to see how well these heads perform, especially since they're priced so well.

Sweet!
JRP, you've got to keep us posted with results.
Nice flow for budget heads and let's see how the domed piston setup works out.

im hoping to have my setup done by july 31'st as theres a local dyno day but i dont think i have enough time to get everything ready . with the domed pistons, .043 gasket, and 66cc heads i have a ~11.5 static CR.

im very happy with my mid lift numbers and should work very well with my setup.

JRP, those heads look great esp. for the $. I'm curious why if you have pistons with valve reliefs, why didnt you mill heads to get compression and use flat top or small dome? Milling head gets compression w/out hurting flow into cylinder or combustion disturbance that most bigger domes cause. I have 11.2 to 1 with 62cc 241 castings, stock short block, .043" gasket. Works great on 93 octane. I'm ANXIOUS TO SEE your flow test results on heads also, good pics.btw.

im using diamond pistons domed +7.5cc with 2cc valve reliefs. with a .043 gasket it puts me at ~11.5 CR with the 66cc heads. didnt want to loose the extra clearance milling would of caused. i'll be having the heads flowed within the next couple of weeks, so well see how they stack up
