I would recommend the Stage II 5.3 head. This will keep your budget in check and still give you great performance. Use a 6.0 head gasket. As far as the cam, we carry a 232/230 .580 .580 110 LSA that would go well with this set-up.

I agree with the 5.3 heads being a good choice for the money, but I'd look into a cam with a traditional split versus a reverse split for nitrous. Also that 110lsa is very nitrous unfriendly.

Sorry, missed the jugging part! Yea, the cam choice should be re-thought.

I would either choose the TSP231/237 or the FMS F13 on a 114 +4, both are great cams (I've had both) The TSP cam is priced alot better than the FMS cam.

Yep.. I remember you, there aren't too many Gold WS6's around. I daily drove my car for a long time with both cams. I'm installing a 231/237 in a car tomorrow for a guy in Bham, you could meet up with him and drive it if you wanted. Either one of those cams are very easy to live with every day... with a good tune.

I have unported LS6 heads on my 6.0L and a traditional split cam with a 110 lsa. On motor, mine makes good power/torque (up to 410HP/400TQ now) - enough to move my 3,700# car to 11.5's @ 116+ in semi-good air.

I have heard from others that the tight lsa is not good for the spray, but when I had the cam ground, I was told with the extra cubic inches the 110 would be fine for up to 150HP shot - is that so - opinions?? Not trying to hijack, but thought it might help all in this post to explain the statement made above
