Default Want Classic Lope Sound

I want to get the classic lope sound like the old muscle cars from my car. What cam do I need? Thanks in advance.

most cams on a 112lsa will give you a nice lope w/ an idle of 700-950

My F11 112+4 has real nice lope. Kooks 1 3/4, off road x, and GHLs for exhaust. Many of the old side pipe Corvette owners have walked up to me at shows saying I had the best sounding C5 they had heard. On an F-body I would go to a GMMG cat back.

T-Rex cam
Long tube headers
No cats
SLP loudmouth

It'll sound like a big block nascar with a lope that'll give you a stiffy. Just make sure you have a lawyer on speed dial and lots of cash for noise pollution.

My setup has a extremely mean lope to it... sounds great. Don't buy a cam just for the lope though, make sure you get one that meets your performance needs.

Get some headers, delete the cats, get a 2.5 or 3.0" X pipe with Borla XR-1's that dump before the axle, a TR230 cam, and set the idle as low as you can get it. If you cant find sound clips of a 230, then PM me and I'll email you one.

What would the point be in that? And how would you know to alter his cam specs without seeing the more pertinent information?

Hotcam is a great bang for the buck. Has great top end on a manual and has the classic built motor sound.
