Default Rwhp?

Can everyone try and guess what my car will dyno tomorrow My mods are in the sig and the cam with the 1:75 ratio comp magnem roller rockers has a lift in the vicinity of .610 .620 so superior automotive is notching my pistons. The heads are milled to net 11:1 compression and I will be runnig only CA pump gas which is only 91 octane, but it will be professionaly tuned. I am guessing around 410 rwhp my car is an m6 and I know the shorties are my limiting factor, but superior is porting the collectors and I am running straight pipes with a cutout. By the way the cam duration is 224/228 and it is a comp cam with xer lobes. I will be posting my dyno graph next week in the dynometer section. Stay tuned.

You might get a little more than 410. Good luck.

I believe it was through the full exhaust I am picking up the car tomorrow and will talk to Joey who dyno'd it. If it was through the cutout it is still through the JBA's and mufflex test pipes and slp y pipe as the cutout is under the rear passenger seat. I will be posting the dyno graph in the dyno section.

Nice numbers, Joe Jill has the sweetest shop I've ever laid eyes on . A real nice guy to talk to, and he knows his **** inside and out. If I ever had a lot of money burning a hole in my pocket - I'd give him my car in a second. Again, nice numbers.

I have a question regarding the peak power superior auto only dynoed the car up to 5800 rpm not any highter it made 415/403 at that rpm I now have the rev limiter set to 6400 and it pulls like a mo fo all the way to 6200 where the rev limiter starts to kick in do you think they never hit the peak hp is it higher than 5800? They dynoed the car with the cutout closed which means I should be somewhere around 425 with it open and maybe even higher at a higher rpm? Where does your car make peak power firehawk933?

peak is probably around ~6200 so yes i think you could of squeezed out more HP, and more so with the cut out open. your numbers are damn good considering it was through sshorties full exhaust and not a full dyno pull . better question thought is will it pass smog

according to Joe Jill it will pass (barely) I guess that is all that matters. Anyway if it does not I will use my smog connect.

One more question now my throttle sticks at 2200 rpm until my car comes to stop then it will settle down to 800 rpms and idle fine. Is the computer still learning the new mods? I sure hope so as the shop that did the H/C is 2.5 hr's away. Is there anything I should do to help the computer learn the new mods? Why would the throttle stick at 2200 rpms when the car is moving and then settle down when the car stops?

If it was tuned you should be fine. FWIW the SHO used to idle high while rolling, then back down to normal after coming to a complete stop. It was a manual.
