Default MTI's R1 & Stage II R heads???

My car is at MTI waiting to have the R1 cam & Zo6 injectors installed. Ihave the stage 2 R heads with the 2.055 /1.60 valves and was told this combo would work with out flycutting the pistons" but now some at the shop thinks because the duration is 232/236 that it may need this done. The lift is only 575/578" so I am trying to save on the cost of having to pull one of the heads if there's no issue on the clearence . If you can help" it would be a big help!

True, it may need it. They will check, and if it needs it, it's a minor deal. MTI will make it work.

Hard to say with that 2.055 valve. I have the same cam with a lsa of 112+4 and My heads are milled .40 and my pistons are notched .40

My valves are only 2.02 but I never check the clearence. But they dont hit.
