Default Finally Dynoed the new set up

Well I finally ended up going to a dyno this morning . Well first off the guy told most of us not to expect to Dyno high numbers on his set up because it was a Mustang Dynamometer not a Dyno Jet set up. They said it will show about a 12%-15% less RWHP reading and boy was he right my first friend went up with a 2001 SS 6spd with a Lid,Pulley ,CatBack, and a few other bolt ons and usually pulls mid 330's on a DynoJet and pulled 288 today on the Dynamometer Then a 2000 Z28 A4 with a lid and catback did a pull and eneded up with a 262 RWHP reading Then a stcok 99 T/A 6spd put down 258
I was thinking to myself damn I will be happy to pull 375 RWHP at this place. So we put my car on the dyno and BAM 407 RWHP @ 6250 and 387 RWTQ @4750 they couldn't believe the power the car was putting out to the wheels and needless to say I wet myself
So if the calculations are near correct and a DynoJet is about 12% higher my car should pull about 455 RWHP and RWTQ in the high 420's . Which isnt to bad for a car with 4.56's, stage II GTP heads, and a F4 cam with a little tunning and a EWP look out for the next 10 sec. member

Good job Mike! Can't wait to see how it does at the track. My car is down (probably for a while), might be a good time for me to upgrade the cam to keep up with you guys.

Kick *** numbers! The Mustangs do read lower. Here's a dyno on a Mustang of my 2001 Z06 that is stock with lontubes and an air filter. It reads low for sure either that or I have a lemon I bet that car rips the tires to a shred

Bill, you may want to check into the F4 cam I think you will like it. Sorry to hear about your car. Stupid cars

Gator, No doubt I was totally happy with the way it went

4RE ETR , Believe it or not the car dosent get much tire spin at all but that is a good thing

Ruff & Mike thanks it has been a process from Hell but it is paying off for sure
