TSP 396 Off-Set Stroker Dyno Results! ! !
Here are the specs from the 396 stroker we've been testing in my c5.
Stock LS1 Crank, off-set ground to 3.825" stroke
Carrillo Nascar 6.125" Rods
1.88 Rod Bearings
Diamond 4.060" Bore Pistons with 2cc valve reliefs
6.0L Iron Block Bored .060"
MTI Stage 3 6.0L Heads (321 cfm with 4.060" bore!)
TSP 238R Camhaft: 238/238, .605"/.605", 113 LSA
10.7:1 street compression
Here's the dyno graph from the all motor pull. Unfortunately we didnt have time to tune it like we would have liked to so there is more power in her down the road... This is with a completely stock MAF so we're going to also try a 85mm maf next trip to the dyno. Dyno results are from AutoTek in Austin.

The next one is the dyno results from the TNT 150 shot. The car is setup with 22 degrees, and as you can see setup really fat so we can also throw in a second stage 100 shot hopefully without melting anything. With the last motor going to this tune killed nearly 40rwhp, but it makes it good and safe... You can probably tell by the dyno graph that the clutch was slipping so unfortunately we were unable to get track results during the shootout Stinkin McLeod.....

With another 100hp dry I bet she'll run pretty well 250+ shots of n2o has got to be a pretty good method of testing the off-set cranks strength
All in all we need to tune the car in, get timing lined out on motor, work on the throttle body some, and put a 85mm maf on it I'd really like to see 500rwhp out her, but that might be tough because I didn't give this one enough compression.

Thanks Phillip!
I'm really kicking myself in the butt for not setting her up with 11.2:1 compression or so... Maybe we can talk Trevor into building one with 13.5:1

Nice results. I've been eyeballing this setup since you guys first announced it. Really good #'s, especially for a budget buildup.
How long until this setup is offered as a shortblock package??

Joe,
Can you resend the e-mail? Or give Trevor a call, its been so crazy with the air boxes that it might have been missed!

I noticed a slight dip around 4250 in the torque curve. I have the same thing only worse and my line is jagged there and above 6000 anyone know what this might be? there is no KR.

Thats a great looking graph but hard for me to read the final N/A numbers. Can you please state what numbers it pulled both horsepower and torque. That set up uses the same block, bore size and similar flowing MTI stage III heads that i am running (i running MTI stage III LS6 Heads) on my 427 using the 4.125 crank.
Thanks,
MTI 427 C5 Roadster

Not bad! I would have liked to lined up with that car, on motor of course.

Great numbers. You are using the same rods as me except I went with the lunati 4" offset ground to 4.075" with 11.2-1 comp. Should have it running in the next couple weeks.
