Question Patman and all other Oil guru's Inside please!

Patman and other oil guru's,My Royal Purple 41 is black after 800 milesPatman did you get dirty oil with your stupid SLP Cold air induction which comes from the bottom.I have also noticed that my MTI clear lid isnt sealed all the way around against the filter.Is this why my Oil looks so dirty?Thanks for the help...

If I know Patman and other's .. They will say take some and get an oil analysis done.

Good luck , I don't have that problem w/ Mobil One and a Super Tech long oil filter and 88K miles on my car. I do use GM top engine cleaner every 3rd oil change so I am sure that helps and I do have a catch can also.

I never did notice my oil getting any more dirty on my 98 Formula after I put on the SLP cold air kit.

Dirty oil doesn't always indicate something bad is going on though. Get an oil analysis done to check and see on it's true condition. RP41 is certainly not going to be worn out by only 800 miles. It should easily last 5-6k and beyond in a sound engine. That is another point, getting oil analysis done can not only tell you the condition of your oil, but the condition of your engine!
