Default tr 224, LSX 90/90 150shot NX or bigger cam and 100shot

i am debating on what to do next.. i want my car to run solid elevens on motor w/ stock heads at 1800ft race weight 3300 w/ me in it.

i have the tr224 right now with an ls6 intake, if i upgrade to the 90/90 lsx setup would it really make any difference?? my car has run a best of 12.48@111 mph with a bad tranny.. with that fixed im sure i can do a 12.20 pass easily.

I have a nx wet kit and want to spray 100- 150 shot as well.

i just cant decide if i would be better off keeping the tr224 or going bigger. I do not drive the car much at all. maybe 500- 1000 miles a year. i will get the car dyno tuned as well.

i have a m6 tranny , 9" w/ 4.56 gears, LT's and spec stage 3.... please give me any suggestions.

i want 11's solid!!! on motor 10.50's on n2o..

thanks

well in general (rule of thumb) it is about 10rwhp for every .1 sec at the track (assuming all other parameters are perfect). So from 12.5 to 11.9 you would need a ~.5>.6 time reduction or another ~50 rwhp N/A.
The FAST 90/90TB will not get you that but a bigger cam with that might.
So I would have to say go bigger on the cam + FAST and you'll be "solid" in the 11's.
Something like 231/237 or G5x2 or similar. (those cams having an exhaust split will respond better to nitrous than the TR224. JMO)

i know its your car, and you're free to do whatever you want.
but take this as a friendly advice, nothing else: do not sacrifice safety for performance..

fyi, if you dont drive the car much and you dont mind an aggressive cam just get mine and a 50shot, you can go 10.5 no problems.
