Just curious what does your car run with the 224 cam? Have you ever even had the hotcam in your car? I had it for a long time and it proved to be a potent cam for the money.

i dont have a hot cam or 224, i've got a custom 240/238. im merely comparing the HC with a popular tr224 cam. and looking at the lobe from .004 to .300 and total lobe area's.

220/228 (@ .050)for the hotcam? Isnt it advertised as having a smaller duration at .050 than that? I thought it was like 215/221?

standard, symetrical, reverese, whats in a name

ya i've been slacking, did the motor mounts and k-member today. if things go as planned should be ready to get put back together next weekend and then throw on a base tune.

Good luck on the dyno(if that is how you are going to base tune) next weekend. You probably have a few things your going to play with on your car knowing you .
