Re: Who is running Yella Terra rockers?
well.. i'm still in the initial buildup of my motor (just got the heads back on) but I'm running stock ratio 1.7:1 yella terra rockers... build quality seems awesome
They look and seem alot beefier/stronger than the stock rocker arms.

He said that he dynoed a A4 and picked up about 10rwhp from 3200-redline with only that mod. They swapped them out on the dyno. Wonder what they would do on a forged motor with stiff springs where the stock rockers might be flexing.

Re: Who is running Yella Terra rockers?
Just installed these when I did my head swap and do recommend them. They did quiet down the valve train, which is a big benefit in my opinion. HP gain got added in with the other mods...so no help there. I am seeing some good numbers out of my setup...416/408. I am not done tuning and hopefully will see 420/410 once the fuel curve is massaged. Cam only/Mac setup netted me 370/370 before I added heads,LT's,and the rockers..I also 86'd the hi flow cats. That is a 50 hp increase and higher than normal tq. Some of the increase has to be due to the reduction of friction w/ the roller tips....
Install is a breeze...just read the instructions carefully....trust me on this one.
Call Mark at RMS vs. YT direct...his pricing is better and he is a sponsor.....every little bit helps. Plus you will enjoy the experience..good all-around guy.

Re: Who is running Yella Terra rockers?
BLUEBYU,
What exactly is the intricate part in the instructions? These things are a direct bolt in replacement correct? No modifications to late model valve covers? Install with stock 8mm bolts and TQ to 22 ft lbs? Is there something else to be aware of before buying these? Thanks.

Re: Who is running Yella Terra rockers?
Yep, everything you said....I just started installing w/o reading first...they send some spacers to help w/ setting the lifter preload. They go under each pedestal. The instructions are very detailed as to whether you need them or not.. I found out about them after I installed the rockers and found out I needed them for the correct preload. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> The install is acually easier than the stockers...No aligning on the stems req'd. Just set your #1 TDC determine if you need the spacers and then install the rest the same...you do not have to TDC every time.
Oh ya, torque to 25 ft.lb.

Phillip,
Motor runs strong and it's still amazing how much more acceleration this stroker has over my old head/cam combo.
I'm running CC 987's and the valve train is very quiet with the YT's. I am an extremely happy camper with this set-up.

Re: Who is running Yella Terra rockers?
We currently sell them for $479.99. Give us a call at 913-814-7243. We tested those Yella Terras and gained 7rwhp. We changed them out on the dyno to discount any condition discrepencies.
