Dyno results AFR 205s with BIG cam
We had our 2001 WS6 M6 dyno'ed yesterday.
It made 453/410
Scroll down on this page and see mods and links to charts of before and after install.
My 2001 Firehawk A4 cam only dyno is there as while.

Numbers aren't bad by any means, but would have expected more. If the pistons were notched in the car it'd be interesting to redyno with 1.8 rockers considering the relatively mild lift of the cam. On another note, how does the car feel with that set up?

It was standard. Here are the cal. not sure if you are to multiply by Relative Horsepower 98.7% or Dyno Correction Factor 1.013%, either way not more than 4 or 5 hp.
Here is the graph, I need to work on my website.

Were the heads milled any? I would have expected a little more out of that setup. If you correct it to SAE and disregard that spike at the end, it doesn't make over 450rwhp thru a 10bolt. What did the car dyno before the heads? Did you guys dyno it while it was Cam only?

I my first post I posted a link to all the mods on his car and cam only dyno. I am working now on fixing the link on that page for the charts. The heads were installed out of the box with Cometic gaskets. The CF DF Clutch grips 90% which can pull 10 to 15hp, but keeps the clutch safe.

what gasket are you running? that cam is just itching for an 11.1 ratio. also, you dont happen to have an overlayy of the cam only vs heads. im curious the gain through the curve.

We didn't get an overlay, we were dyno tuning a bunch of cars and didn't get all the charts we wanted. But both charts are on the site for side by side compare.

Nice results for such a large camshaft. I'd expected a greater loss in low end power.
