Default can some1 help me w/ valve events??

all mods in sig.i think ive FINALLY made my decision for my new cam im gettin next week.ive ruled out ALL HUGE cams;since im not much of a track guy.im looking very close at the F9;its a nitrous cam , i know.and ill be sprayin MAYBE 2-3 times a week.but it is a daily driver, and it will see more n/a driving.i dont reaaly mind the street manners it has.i wouldnt mind it being a little on the choppy side.but my main goal is to run a very good TQ curve.im a TQ junkie.so im either thinkin this cam or a G5X2 or maybe G5X3.if i can get some1 to run the v.e. on the F9 and the G5X3, that would be great.thanks boys.

p.s. the F9 is 232/236 .585/.600 114lsa...maybe some1 else knows the X3's specs.TIA.

I have a valve event calculator around here somewhere...so you can just plug the #'s into an excel spreadsheet...but I'm having a hard time finding where I put it....
If I find it...I'll post it for ya...

I have a version of dyno sim amd when I want to look at valve events I just pop it into the calculator on it. Gives a nice visual representaton of the lobe as well.. and helps me see ramp rates to really pick a spring to use instead of just going by the ol "this spring works for this cam"...cause a 224 cam might be good for a 918...but a fast ramp 224...918's might not be quite enough(example being if it were more like a solid roller lift and ramp rate...not that a 224 would be a solid roller...but if it were an extreme ramp rate...I would be able to see it better)

you planning on flycutting? im not sure if the x3's have the same 4* advance as the x2's.

no.no fly-cutting.just all bolt-on's and a hefty cam(and maybe a lil 100-150 shot ).i hope they dont have any advance ground in;that wont be good for the spray.

clearance is gonna be tight, i'd fly cut just for good measure. especially if you go with the 112.

I agree with "Agent J".... thats gonna be a little tight...you could do without...but its smarter to flycut on that one... just get the isky tool that will allow you to flycut with the motor still in the car....its some cheap peace of mind for that cam
