The cam is a 230/230/112 comp cam.
Other go fast bolt ons is a mti lid and k&n.
And i was suprised with the low end improvement. Pulls much harder down low.

Improvement looks good! Down low response is always fun.

Almost a 50 HP gain is awesome, but the 50 ft/lbs of TQ is REALLY awesome.

The car must feel like a beast compared to before the swap....also, your just looking at "peak" gains....I bet the average TQ and HP is up even more....get to the track....it should post much stronger numbers in good air.

Glad your pleased with the results...
Tony M.

PS....Can anyone post an overlay of the two power curves?....that would be good to see.

50/50 is very appealing. Imagine some more compression and a 90/90 setup added to that.

Cool, I am planning an AFR (60cc for at least 11-1) and very similar cam and LG headers on my Z06, can't wait.

I would have liked to have seen what the power gains were from just the heads alone.

I'm sure upgrading to better headers and removing your cats were good for up to 10rwhp/15rwtq or so.

Still at least 35rwhp/35rwtq from heads is nothing to sneeze at

I don't think he added headers....just removed the cats and switched to Magnaflow exhaust. Personally, Ive never seen huge gains from a muffler swap.

Certainly, the other changes had a positive impact on power and all of the gains are NOT attributed to the cylinder heads, but in this particular case, it seems the AFR's really woke this combination up.

Nice gains. I was looking into trying some of the 205's myself. Glad to see some guys with smaller cams with good numbers.

He changed from a loudmouth to a Magnaflow so no gain there. Headers are the same as what they were just no cats now. I've seen none to minimal gains removing the FLP cats on other cars. They actually work very well.

I figured maybe he gained 5rwhp/5rwtq going to QTPs, but I could be wrong. I figured no cats would be good for maybe 5rwhp/10rwtq.....so even if 40rwhp/40rwtq, still badass!
