Default What dyno # do you have with TR224 H/C

This is a ground ball thread.
I posted this also on the corvette forum, but it's not getting much action.

I have the TR224 on a 114 installed, but that didnt fix me. 5 months later im jonesing again, and feel the need for heads.

Guys with the TR224 cam

1) What heads do you have, and how much $$
2) What's the combustion chamber
3) What's the compression
4) What's your dyno numbers
5) if you have mn6/12 what clutch do you have and how many miles on the clutch.

1. JPR heads from 2002, cost 2K
2. 10.8:1 compression so I'm guessing 62cc
3. See above
4. 400, 396
5. Clutchmasters clucth, 12K on it

Kick butt cam when complimented with heads.

Not to be a jerk or anything but your guys #s seem really low for a TR224 cam + heads.

I made 399.7rwhp/398rwtq on stock 2002 heads with TR224/114 + bolt ons and a SPEC3 with a couple thousand on it.

I think the TR224/114 can make WELL over 400rwhp with some heads and a tune.

You seem to have maxed out the bolt-ons....some people dont have TB or pulleys I think.

The heads are older as well, and the port design's have changed quite a few times for most CnC shops. They are always tweaking them.
old car but still useable I guess.

1) Stock heads 2001 LS1
2) 66.x
3) 10.1:1
4) 398 RWHP cant remember torque
5) M6 with spec stage 3 clutch and 12 bolt rear using a 4.10 gear.

414.2RWHP and 403 RWTQ with no learn miles, I'm confident I can get to 425 RWHP with some tweeking. On my other 01 SS(RIP) car with full boltons and cam was able to get 403RWHP. Only 11.2RWHP with AFR 205's ?

Mine was a 224 .581 112 MTI cam, but close enough

1) MTI 2R $2,000 used. 2.05/1.60 valves
2) not sure
3) 11:1
4) 416/376 with all bolt ons. motor let loose about 125 miles later no it's in pieces. Numbers prolly would have been higher
5) all this trough a 9" w/ 4.30 gears and a huge steel driveshaft. Clutch is a Spec 3 with 100 miles on it

guys with cats are holding back AT LEAST 10 rear wheel here, i have seen a couple guys on here gain anywhere from 15-25 on the dyno after getting rid of cats especially the lower the LSA the less you want cats on your car.

1. Stage 2 5.3 Absolute Speed/$I think 1700. Don't remember. It was a special.
-2.04 intake
-978 comp double springs
2. ??
3. 11.0-1 compression
4. sig for that (through a full TTS catted exhaust with a **** pour tune)
5. Exedy clutch that is out of the car with 700 miles on it. 2nd pass down strip did it in. Getting ready to ship back to Exedy so they can get me another that is suppose to not slip. Stock 10 bolt with 12 in future.

One another note, My plans are to slide in another cam this winter to take advantage of these heads. The tr224/114 just doesn't take full advantage of my heads.
