Will no longer be porting
I recieved a job offer that I cannot turn down that will take an unknown amount of time from my schedule. I am doing this to not make a big mistake for me and my possible future customers. I will do and finish the jobs I have taken up to now and will not be taken any more from today on. I absolutely love doing this but will not damage what I have and ruin peoples oppinion of me or my work. I know its kinda out of nowhere but I was just going to make it work but I have decided against it. Thanx for everything and everyone and I will continue to be apart of the LS1TECH community. Please sticky this someone.

Congrats Bo. Thanks for taking the time to get back to me late the other night. I appreciate your honesty and I will hopefully be sending some work your way in the future if you get back in the biz...

I will still be piddling here and there since I know I cannot quit cold turkey lol. Its just that I cannot continue into undiscovered territory and take care of customer demands as well. It will become a hobby again and will just do what I can when I can. I have been in denile for the last couple of weeks about having to quit what I was doing or possibly get overloaded and turn out like some of the drama that has already happened on this site. I am just doin the right thing and stepping up to the plate and telling it like it is to everyone and to myself that things are and will change.

Being up front and honest with the community is very respectful, and being honest and true to yourself is honorable. There's a way to handle head porting so it doesn't feel like a burdon, while still being fun -- just do up a set of heads on your own schedule, and sell them when you finish up.
Congrats on the new job!!

Thanx for the PMs, e-mails and nice comments. I would like to continue porting here and there like Brains suggested and that is my plan later on when I get the orders done that I have now. I will do things on a safe pace and will also continue being a sponsor, money permitting. Looking forward to the Bham visit of the Power Tour and meet everyone that will be there

Bo, congrats on the new job man. Life comes first, this is just a hobby. You're doing the right thing. I'm glad I'll be able to say I'll have a throttle body on the car from you. The heads we were discussing can be done locally for not much more and with similar results from a S.A.M. graduate that opened a shop up here, so no biggie on those. Much better to stand up and say something now than to be overrun with work and have your name run through the mud. You're doing the right thing. Take care and good luck with the new job.
