Default Which 5.3 heads are the best for the money??

I am wanting to buy some heads for my car. My mods are below in my signature. I was looking at the Precision Race Components Stage 2.5 5.3 heads from TSP or the TEA 1.5 5.3 heads. Which ones would be the best?

Go with the PRC 2.5 3.5,IMHO they are the best buy out there.

i'd say either one...you cant loose with either product...im very happy with my TEA's, but the PRC heads are lookin nice too...if its hard to choose between the actual heads, start looking into the customer service between the two companies...i cant speak on PRC's behalf b/c i havent dealt with them or had experience with them, but i know from first hand experience that the good guys @ TEA will bend over backwards and go far out of there way to help a customer...

TEA 1.5's have 2.02 intakes and a stock truck exhaust valve.
PRC 2.5's have 2.04 manley intakes and 1.575 manley exhausts. Just the the better valves would be worth buying the PRC's.

The stock exhaust valve is fine, as long as you don't plan on spraying more than 250hp worth of nitrous at a time.

Personally, I would go with the TEAs, they have been producing good stuff for a long time, and have always stood by what they sell.

So the PRCs are better than the AFRs?

I looked at a set of PRCs on line and their cheaper than the AFRs. So are they better because their cheaper or better because they flow better / make more horsepower? I thought I was all set on getting AFRs but now I'm wondering...

If you are planning on buying soon, get the PRC's and save some money. Their GP is over, but the website still has the 5.3 stage 2.5 heads on sale for $1400. I just ordered mine on Monday. I think Jason said it ended this week. Better hurry!

I went from 360 to 394 without any tuning yet(tr224 cam/edlebrock shorties). They are truck heads that were cnc'd by prc and finished by ffhp - 2.02 intake/1.6 exhaust, .0015 mill. They cost me 1450 shipped with bolts and gaskets.
