Default Final cam ? about a 408

Ok i think that i have come to a final choice for a cam for my 408 but i have one last question. My choice is going to be a cam motion 252/257 635/632 112lsa 110 cl. How will this compare to my TSP 231/237 598/595 112 that is currently in my 346. Thanks Shawn

i would have to say about the same.i have a 242/250 611 619 114lsa in a 402 and it acts like a 224/224 in a 346. alittle lope and almost no surge (very slight in 4th at 1500rpm). wife says it drives like when it was stock. accept for melting the tires every time she hits the pedal.

I am going to be running a 248/254 629/622 113 in my 402. Compression will be 10.3:1.

I think the 231/237 is a bit more tame in a 346 then what you going with in the 408.
Not a big difference. I would say a 248/254 with maybe 615/625ish lift would be a closer comparision.

As far as Mr Lous goes you are wasting power with the compression. Jack it up a full point or better to run that cam and make much more power NA.

I know. Not looking to make full power NA.

Might try to bump it up around 10.8 or so though until further mods can be added.
