Default Who's running cam only with Fast 90/90 setup and full bolt-ons??

I'm probably gonna try this TSP 233/239 R2 camshaft with a ported FAST 90/NW90 Setup and stock heads... Will have full bolt-ons including..

Hooker LT's, X-pipe, Turndowns
Lid, Stock MAF, ASP Pulley
Built 4L60E, 3800 stall converter
Stock Rear w/ 3.73 Gears
Bigger Injectors, HPTuners

How well do you think this is gonna work? I don't personally know anyone around here that is running a cam w/ the fast 90 setup and stock heads. I know there are some guys on here that are doing this tho.. What kind of power can I look for? 380rwhp???

Suggestions are appreciated..

I'd say closer to 400rwhp would be more accurate. I'm not cam only, but am running a smaller cam that what you are going to be running and an out of the box fast 90/90 setup and did the numbers in my sig, but have heads.

I dyno 385hp/421tq with a 228/232 cam, 4L60E, 3000 stall, 10 bolt with 3.73s, LS6 intake, stock tb, stock injectors, LT headers, xpipe with single chambers and a lid. This is with the converter locked

You should be able to get 400 easy I would say.

Thanks for the info.. I'm not gonna get my hopes up too high tho! I'm sure it will dyno pretty well. But, I don't know about 400..

I know of a M6 car in our club that did 420 rwhp with Trex and all bolt on's before 90/90 and 441 after 90/90. So the same setup in a locked TC A4 car should be in the 42x range I would think...

Well, he is asking about a 233/239 which is a good bit smaller than the T-rex (9* each side) and I don't think very many people lock their converters to dyno. Many just aren't made to take that kind of abuse.

I'm waiting for a dyno sheet on that, I don't think it's possible. Something is messed up.

I sure wish someone out of 50,000 members had a damn dyno sheet from a stalled A4 with a decent size cam and Fast 90/90 setup... lol

Nothing is messed up, he's just reading the converter flashing on the dyno as if it were a true torque reading. That's my guess anyway.

FWIW I made 385 hp in my A4 w/ the 233/239 unlocked, then 401 rwhp w/ the converter locked. This is w/ stock LS6 intake and stock 241 heads.

Thanks for the info! Was this the older version of the 233/239 or the new "revised" edition?? What other bolt ons did you have??
