i talked to a guy at the MAC tool nationals (in INDY of course) about these heads... he said they just got 40 pair off of the CNC machine last friday... he said he knew nothing about them but he said at the next event he would have a pair to display along with cfm numbers.

nice design. they just shrink the water jackets to make a more smooth patter from intake to combustion chamber. wonder if that will have any affect on cooling or overheating of the car????

Flow numbers are there. I didn't see any prices though.....how much are they?

The 205's flow 296@550
225 flow 313@600

I guess if ET heads doesn't come out with their heads soon, I'll be ordering a set of these.

Scott, they're supposed to be in the $1500 range for an assembled (hyd roller) set. that could be wrong though. i'm gonna run some 6.0s on my motor enitially but wouldn't mind these later on once it's running either if they're that cheap assembled they should be pretty low unassembled.

They look to flow pretty well right out of the box...Who knows for sure but I think the days of stock ported heads are comming to and end..I figure by next yr porting stockers will be a thing of the past....

This is the link to the Dart LS1 page: http://www.dartheads.com/ls1.aspx. And this is the link to the PDF document (which includes flow numbers): http://www.dartheads.com/manager/uploads/LS1Flyer.pdf.

They appear to be sold without CNC machining and have a bunch of nice features (like raised valve cover rails. And they are all 62cc.

Porters may make more of the heads. However, on first glance they seem to be more of a Patriot competitor than an AFR/ET competitor.

i noticed the 225s dont flow as high as the AFR 225s for exhaust and intake, very close though. Darts 205 has better intake flow but its exhaust flow is lower all around compared to AFRs 205, also very close #s. If they do sell for about $1500 i think they would be worth it.
