Default Thinking about swapping cams

I was sitting here reading the latest Engine Masters magazine and they had a article on lobe seperation and started the wheels turning. Right now the 346 is getting a 254/260 .650 112 + 2 cam. I am inches away from calling my parts guy and having another custom solid roller burned, 254/260 .650 108 + 2. What do you guys think?

What size chambers do your heads have. Sounds like it should be a crazy346

Wouldn't that just make it more peaky? I would rather have more average power than a higher peak #.

Actually in the last engine masters magazine, they tested 5 lobe seperations and the 108 made the most average power.
