at idle at the peddals there is a huge rattle (feel/knocking sound)??decent size cam!

Default at idle at the peddals there is a huge rattle (feel/knocking sound)??decent size cam!

well when i come to a stop light and just idle ,those of you that have a farly big cam, know what im talking about, the car shaks alitte , but every once in a while, There is a real big rattiling in my foot pedal area that i can feel, sorta like the engine is loose or something! any one know what this could be or have had this problem??

driving me nuts i feel like my engine is going to come apart

help!!

do you have a Y pipe hitting a crossmember?

I was gonna say loose torque converter bolts but I see you have a M6. Could be broken motor mount or even something clutch related. Im just guessing based on the fact you say you feel it in the pedals.

in my Z06 i can feel a vibtation in my clutch pedal when i turn my steering wheel if i am not moving. i still have not figured out what it is.

are you sure its not the y pipe hitting the cross member. thats what it sounds like

I can hear/feel a vibration at idle coming from what seems to be under my shifter, but not the pedals.

no it comes from behind the peddals almost feels like something is knowck near the bottom of the engine area fire wall but shakes everything down there...going to check to see if its the motor mount! any sugjestions how to do that?

maybe its your header hitting the bottom of the floor. jack it up and start it. check engine and trans mount(s). its going to be heard to just guess, it could be anything

ok going to the shop on thursday to have the mounts changed anyway to polyurathain

found the problem!! the engine mounts were kinda bad but SUTTERERMAN85 you were correct the headers were also hitting the k member due to close fit and bad motor mounts! thanks guys!
